I highly recommend Lawn Doctor. I previously had tried another company for a while and although the grass was very green, weeds were increasing. I decided to take over the job myself. Well, in not my smartest moment, I sprayed weed killer on my St Augustine the wasn’t for that type for grass and killed a few patches. I was done. I read some reviews and called Lawn Doctor to help fix what I had ruined. I’m so glad I called. They came out to help and did. For the first time the weeds were actually dying in my St Augustine. While of course, it will take time for the patches I killed to grow in, I can tell it’s happening. Juan is sweet and listens to any concerns I have and answers all my questions. I know he’s taking care of my lawn. I highly recommend you give them a try. ~ Melanie R

6/25/2024: Updating my review to 5 stars. Communication with the main office has noticeably improved and service response times are much faster. I am very happy with their service. Summer 2023: When they actually show up they do a pretty good job, but if you hire them be sure to keep track of the dates of your service. Their lawn service is for every 6-7 weeks, but at this point it will be a minimum of 9 weeks from my last treatment despite multiple calls to their office, and the lawn is not looking that great. Bad weather and other issues are understandable that may delay fertilizing a few days, but being 2 or 3 weeks overdue is NOT ACCEPTABLE, especially with how quickly the lawn can develop issues in a Florida summer. ~ John B

Lawn Doctor has been exceptional. They are pleasant and professional. Since I was outside one of the times, I had a chance to personally talk with Juan. It’s kind of unusual to talk to someone from a lawn service for the first time and feel like you’ve known him for years. He was professional, knowledgeable and very personable. You can see he worked with a level of excellence and took time to thank me, the customer. Our lawn is also becoming much healthier. Overall, it’s two thumbs up for a great lawn care Company!! I give the Lawn Doctor a BIG THUMBS UP! Frank has been great to work with. When he took over my lawn it was in terrible shape. He has since turned it around and it is looking better. It takes both the customer and the Lawn Doctor working together to make the lawn better and Frank has been relentless on doing his part. He has educated me on what I need to do from changing my watering patterns to adding other products to the lawn to help fill in the weak areas. I would definitely recommend the Lawn Doctor. ~ Bill S

I have had Lawn Doctor for fertilization and bug treatment for the last few years. Overall, they are good. Compared to the company we had previously, their fertilization mix makes for healthy sod and keeps the controllable weeds at bay. Their response time isn't as fast as a larger company, but their pricing makes up for it and they'll rectify the situation. When I call, I always a real person and not an automated service. ~ Laura P

Lawn Doctor has done a fantastic job with my lawn. With the first treatment they completed a soil sample and developed a plan to address the issues with my lawn. Most recently, they’ve offered compost treatment. After the compost was applied, the yard almost immediately turned more green. I’ve now got a great lawn. ~ Dean M
